General Meeting (7PM – 9PM approximate)

Speaker: David Middleton

Topic: Real Estate Market Timing

Market timing:  Science or Art?

What factors do you consider to predict market changes to advance into the market or restructure and consolidate your holdings?

David Middleton, an internet and IT guy, turned his sights to real estate in 2004.  Having been through the tech bubble and its collapse in the 1980’s, it wasn’t long before he recognized the same behavior in the real estate industry.  Despite so many experts saying how it was different this time, David wanted to learn if there was any way to predict when things were going to change. In June 2006, David predicted a real estate collapse and resulting recession within 12-18 months. 17 months later a recession was officially recognized.

David has studied Robert Campbell’s market timing and has done extensive research with data going back to 2001. David believes that you can maximize returns in any market by understanding market cycles and working with them, instead of against them.

Thought provoking? You bet. Dave Middleton will present several market timing factors that you should consider. Bring your notepad and get ready to learn about how the macro economy affects your micro-economy.
